We all know I obsess over repetativeness, which means I should not, by any means, like ragas. However, I like this one, as indeed I like most. I’m like Spitzer, railing against the things I secretly love, just with… you know… less prositutes and more melody. I figure that since you can like Bon Iver, and you try something else that is ventures in the realm of folk.
It’s hard not to dig a distort solo over an acoustic background.
Also, NPR just featured them on their song of the day website.

That is, indeed, a bitchin’ solo.
However, I waited two and a half minuets for that damn riff to break and when it did i found the pay off…. disappointing. It’s not that it was bad, per say, it’s just that I wanted it to erupt into a into a crotch-blistering psychedelic fuckstravaganza™
That much tension needs a crotch-blistering psychedelic fuckstravaganza™
lawl copters.
I have nothing to say but “word” to that.
But even without the crotch-blistering psychedelic fuckstravaganza™ , the song is a nice reminder that some people still listen to T-REX.
